How to Apply

Grace School welcomes applications from students with a wide range of backgrounds, interests, talents and experiences, and admits applicants regardless of religion, gender, nationality, race and ethnic background. Admission decisions are based on a comprehensive assessment of each applicant’s potential to succeed and flourish in our program. We seek students who are motivated to learn, have positive attitudes, and are intellectually able and curious.


Admission Process

To begin the admission process, families of applicants for grades kindergarten through eighth grade should complete the following steps:

  • Contact the admissions office at 713-267-8705 to schedule a visit.
  • Complete and submit the admission application with a $100 application fee.
  • Submit teacher recommendation forms (6th – 8th grade requires a teacher recommendation from language arts and math); current and past report cards and admission testing (5th – 8th grade requires ISEE testing).
  • As part of the application process, all students, ages PreK through 8th Grade, are invited to come to Grace School for a student visit. Requirements are as follows:
    • PreK - Kindergarten: A one hour morning "Play Day" at Grace!
    • Grades 1st - 5th: Half day "shadow" visit in a classroom
    • Grades 6th - 8th: Full day "shadow" visit in Middle School

Specific to Primary School: 20 months through Pre-Kindergarten
