Dear All,
As in years past, we will need adult and student volunteers (7th and 8th grade) to deliver spirit items and supplies. Student volunteers will earn valuable community service hours. Adult volunteers will just get our gratitude. Please consider helping if your schedule allows. You may help with both deliveries. Below are the particulars:
Spirit Items Set-up Day -- Monday, August 11, 2008
Elizabeth Witte will need assistance with set-up, inventory of items, and sorting monogrammed totes and gym bags. Elizabeth and Lacey Telge will work and also need 2-3 adults to help them. We would also like 2-3 8th graders to help with this also. Set up is from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Please email Elizabeth Witte at
elizabeth@calvertlindsay.com if you are available to help with the spirit items set-up. You may also call Elizabeth at 713-306-6158 or 281-346-0688 to sign up.
Spirit Items Delivery -- Tuesday, August 12, 2008
Orders for the spirit items will be filled beginning at 7:30am. Elizabeth Witte will need assistance with filling the orders and sorting the orders by classroom assignment and then delivery to that classroom. We will be working in a room behind the Massey-Tucker Hall and this job will
not require a lot of heavy lifting. This process will only take about three hours and we will need many helpers to accomplish this job. We are looking for 5-6 adults that can work and supervise the student volunteers. The is a first come/first served opportunity at community service hours but
8th graders will get priority since they need these hours to graduate from Grace. Please email Elizabeth Witte at
elizabeth@calvertlindsay.com if you are available to help with the spirit items delivery. You may also call Elizabeth at 713-306-6158 or 281-346-0688 to sign up.
Supplies Delivery -- Thursday, August 14, 2008
The supply delivery day is split into two shifts -- 9-12 and 12-3. Maria Klein is looking for adult and student volunteers. The is a first come/first served opportunity at community service hours but
8th graders will get priority since they need these hours to graduate from Grace. Please email Maria Klein at
mklein@trinityenvironmental.net if you are available to help with the supplies delivery. You may also call Maria at 713/829-5942 to sign up.
We cannot do this without your help! Thank you very much.
Elizabeth Witte and Maria Klein
