Support Grace

Grace School has a strong tradition of developing Christian leaders through academics, athletics, fine arts and service. To provide its students with the resources to do this, Grace relies on support from faculty/staff, parents, alumni, grandparents, school committee, and friends. There are various ways one can support Grace and the Advancement Team works very hard to coordinate these efforts for Grace and its constituents. The Advancement Team is responsible for coordinating the fundraising efforts as it relates to annual giving, scholarships, events, planned giving, alumni relations, public relations, marketing, stewardship and additional fundraising campaigns as necessary.

Annual Giving
The Grace School Annual Fund is a fundraising priority and provides a critical source of revenue for Grace. The Annual Fund is one way that the school offsets overall operating expenses, which includes salaries for faculty and staff, cost of benefits, instructional expenses, facilities management, and financial aid assistance. In order to keep tuition costs down, the school depends on subsidizing these critical operating expenses with funds raised through the Annual Fund.

Scholarships
Grace has a continued interest in setting up and offering scholarship funds for children who would not otherwise be able to attend Grace. Donations made to the scholarship fund are tax-deductible, donations designated to specific individuals are not. Tax-deductible gifts for unrestricted financial aid are appreciated and will be disbursed by the Financial Aid Committee.

Events
Grace holds several fundraising events throughout the school year. One of the larger fundraising events of the year is the Grace auction which is being held this Spring and is suppored by the Grace School Parents’ Club.

Foundations
When outside funding sources like corporate donors and foundations look at Grace School as a potential grant recipient, one of the key criteria used to determine acceptance is financial support from the school community, parents, alumni, and faculty. The financial involvement of our school community is critically important to our ability to raise outside funds and support through grants.

Planned Giving
Gift planning is a great way to make a lasting contribution to Grace School while taking advantage of favorable federal and state tax laws. Your planned gift can reduce your income taxes, reduce or possibly eliminate capital gains taxes, remove assets from your estate and possibly reduce your gift and estate taxes, and provide income for yourself and others.
