That’s why I’m so pleased that more students than ever before will be able to attend one of their top choice schools.”
Grace School students received offer letters from some of the city’s most selective high schools including Kinkaid, Houston Christian High School, Strake and St. Agnes. Private school admission decisions are based upon a combination of factors, including grades, coursework, test scores, how the applicant handled challenges and opportunities, indicators of such personal characteristics as leadership, motivation and persistence.
“It’s very impressive,” said Walgamuth. “They are all outstanding students and their diversity of experiences and perspectives will further enrich their high school’s student population.”
Outstanding academic achievements from Grace graduates has been consistent over the years. The Grace graduating class of 2005 had five graduates who went on to become valedictorians and receive top academic honors at their respective high schools. In addition, Grace Alumni attends some of the nation’s most prestigious colleges and universities including
