Grace School Library

The Grace School Library serves our students, faculty, staff, and parents. Students use the library for their research, reference, and recreational reading needs. Faculty and staff use the library for curriculum development, professional growth, and personal interests. The Grace School Library, with its beautiful murals and inviting atmosphere, strives to be the heart of the School by supporting the curriculum with a broad collection of books and resources that enhance the students' reading interests. Our goal is to create lifelong learners who enthusiastically explore the world around them.

  • The Grace School Library serves our school community with close to 18,000 volumes including books, audiobooks, magazines, professional educational journals, videos, and CD-ROMS.
  • Students and parents are eligible for library cards. We encourage Primary School parents to check out books for their children.
  • There are six student computers with Internet access available for patron use. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher are installed on each machine and available for student use with projects.
  • Grace School students have access to a wealth of information from online databases.
  • These databases are intended for academic use and are safe, up-to-date, and educationally sound. These resources include periodicals, books, full text articles, primary documents, encyclopedias, almanacs, and maps.
  • Students participate in the Texas Bluebonnet Program, the Lone Star Program, and the Reading Counts!TM program which is a reading incentive program that promotes reading for pleasure.
  • The Story Lorry, our mobile bookcart, is available in the Learning Center for our Primary School parents.
  • Enrichment for all ages includes visits from visiting authors, Shakespearean troupes, and even Mother Goose.
  • SMART Board technology in the library enhances student and teacher interactions and learning.
